The office of Senator Mark R. Warner is looking to hire a Constituent Advocate in the Senator’s Roanoke, VA office. The Constituent Advocate will be responsible for: general administrative assignments, including preparing and editing documents, answering constituent phone calls, maintaining a regional calendar of events, serving as a liaison with constituents and agency staff, responding to constituent mail, assisting with special projects and events, and preparing a weekly report of activities within the office for Senator Warner. Positions require strong written and verbal communications skills and an ability to work long hours. Virginia ties are preferred. The ideal candidate relishes working in a demanding, fast-paced environment and excels at managing multiple projects at one time.
