Summary
This position requires counseling OMB leadership, managers, and staff at all levels regarding the application of complex legal requirements across OMB's management components. This portfolio includes interesting questions of law that have a Government-wide impact, including Federal procurement policy, the Uniform Grants Guidance, cybersecurity and information technology, acquisition supply chain, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
As a GENERAL ATTORNEY, GS-0905-14/15, your typical work assignments may include the following:
The attorney in this position will counsel OMB leadership, managers, and staff at all levels across the Agency regarding a broad range of matters involving administrative law and the Federal regulatory process. The portfolio includes assisting in the development and review of regulations, executive orders, legislation, policy proposals, and statements of administrative policy with consideration of legality, soundness, and advisability; legislative, fiscal, and programmatic implications; and overall effect on the operation of the Executive Branch.
The successful candidate must be energetic, creative, and enjoy challenging legal analysis.
