Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 based on experience

Location: Remote – US based only


REAL Strategies is a unique solutions-based company that specializes in political and marketing strategies and works with trade associations, non-profits, and advocacy organizations. The Account Manager guides the client through developing and launching all campaign components. This includes printed materials, digital ads, video and radio, websites, phone scripts, and emails. The Account Specialist will work with internal clients - production and design teams - to facilitate this process. The Account Specialist represents REAL Strategies to all clients and creates a relationship that fosters trust and loyalty to the company. This role requires remarkable communication skills, empathy, patience, leadership, quick thinking, and strong interpersonal skills.


Responsibilities:

• Monitor and coordinate the execution of the campaign plan with internal teams

• Collaborate and communicate successfully with the client throughout the entire campaign

• Develop and foster relationships with the clients

• Proactively address issues that could occur between the client and the strategic planning team or other internal teams.

• Promptly respond to client concerns

• Collaborate with internal teams when necessary to identify other strategies or opportunities during a campaign

• Develop a strong understanding of the goals of the campaign and how the strategy will help reach those goals.

• Show composure, resilience, and flexibility in all interactions with both external and internal clients.

• Provide a “white glove” client experience

• Develop strong working relationships with the internal team, developing and executing the campaign materials.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a related role:
  • We highly encourage candidates with backgrounds in high-touch, white-glove, customer-facing service industries like retail and hospitality to apply.
  • We can teach you the processes, and you bring the customer experience factor. 
  • Proven customer-oriented attitude.
  • Be ready to talk about your most challenging experiences. We love a great story.
  • Ability to establish and nurture client relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems.
  • You are the first point of contact and know which solution to offer to the team for feedback and then to your client.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
  • This is where any retail/hospitality background kicks in.
  • Solid communication skills, both oral and written – clear, professional, thoughtful & informative.
  • We know retail isn’t always written, but we are email-centric here. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Solid PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and productivity apps like Airtable, Trello, or similar.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment and are comfortable with ambiguity.
  • You feel empowered to make a call on a decision and know when you have enough information to make that call.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and client needs.
  • Sometimes things go sideways, you are ok with that and can pivot and keep focus.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • We have lots to learn here; every campaign is different, and every client is, too.
  • Positive attitude and a sense of humor


Nice to Have:

  • Strong knowledge of printing and digital advertising (direct mail, digital advertising, marketing) or mail shop experience
  • Interest in politics or political campaign experience
