The organization seeks an Advocacy Manager to lead its advocacy team in promoting economic justice and engaging Black communities across Tennessee. This role involves managing issue campaigns related to child care, homeownership, food access, and energy costs, while also overseeing the endorsement process for candidates. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in policy advocacy or legislative work, including supervisory experience, and a strong understanding of Tennessee's governmental structure. Strong writing skills and the ability to manage relationships with elected officials are essential. The position is based in Tennessee and may require some in-person engagement.
