We are seeking an execution-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong project management, organization, and communication skills. This role serves as a key coordinator for donor engagement efforts, ensuring communications, stewardship, and events are delivered with accuracy, timeliness, and impact.
What We Require:
The University of New Mexico Foundation seeks applications for the Associate Managing Director of Donor Engagement. This role leads the execution of donor engagement initiatives, including but not limited to communications and stewardship activities, ensuring alignment with established strategies and timely delivery.
This position manages project timelines and workflows, coordinates with internal and campus partners, and supports donor cultivation and stewardship efforts. The role also supervises junior staff, monitors deliverables, and resolves day-to-day operational issues while escalating more complex matters as needed.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality. Experience with donor databases, project management, and communication tools is preferred.
The minimum education and experience required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher, with a major in public relations, communications, or closely related field.
- Four years of professional experience with a fundraising or non-profit organization.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Compensation Salary Range:
The expected salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. This range is an estimate, and the final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, consideration of any approved geographic salary differential, and alignment with internal equity guidelines to ensure consistency across similar roles.
