Film at Lincoln Center fulfills its mission through the programming of festivals, series, retrospectives, and new releases; the presentation of podcasts, talks, and special events; and the creation and implementation of artist initiatives. About the Role
The Marketing Associate, Outreach & Engagement will assist with the day-to-day management and execution of Film at Lincoln Center’s (FLC) marketing strategy through project and campaign management, supporting community outreach, FLC engagement efforts, and other related duties. This role will participate in the marketing efforts for all of FLC’s programs, events, and activations including the New York Film Festival.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-4 years experience in marketing, including experience managing:
- multiple stakeholders (internal and external)
- creative production across print, outdoor, and digital
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
- Previous experience in community engagement efforts
- Solid understanding of digital metrics and their meanings (social stats, Google Analytics)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- An excellent understanding of general marketing principles
Preferred skills:
- Content management systems / email systems / CRM’s
- Tessitura system
- Wordfly
- Google Office Suite (Drive, Slides, etc.)
- Project management software
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
30% - Day-to-day execution of marketing activities in support of internal departments (Membership, Partnerships, Events, Film Comment Magazine, and FLC Academies/Education, etc.)
30% - Day-to-day execution of marketing activities relating to community outreach efforts, seeking to engage with specific audiences (students, UWS residents, diverse communities, etc.)
15% - Manage email marketing (newsletters, announcements, invites, ticketing updates, etc.)
15% - Database management, including the preparation and distribution of reporting and analytics (in Tessitura / Shift72, among others)
10% - Other (survey management, KPI participation, support with “tentpole” festivals, other duties as assigned)
- Lead community outreach efforts, seeking to engage with specific audiences (students, UWS residents, diverse communities, etc.) and broaden FLC audiences.
- Participate in the creation of the monthly Key Performance Indicator report
- Collaboration and management with external freelancers
- Database management, including the preparation and distribution of reporting and analytics (in Tessitura / Shift72, among others)
- Support for “tentpole” festivals such as the New York Film Festival and New Directors New Films
- Other duties as required
Travel
