Role Description
Turning Point Action is seeking a Ballot Chaser for a full-time on-site role based in New Hampshire, United States. The Ballot Chaser will be responsible for conducting targeted voter outreach through door-to-door canvassing, phone calls, and other direct contact methods. Daily tasks include assisting with ballot collection processes, engaging voters in meaningful conversations about participating in elections, and maintaining accurate records of interactions. The role requires close collaboration with the grassroots team to achieve voter engagement goals and ensure the success of local initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with voters and community members
- Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate daily tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and addressing challenges as they arise
- Knowledge of voter outreach best practices and familiarity with local election processes is a plus
- A positive attitude, resilience, and a passion for community engagement
- Willingness to work on-site in New Hampshire and travel locally as required by the role
- Experience in grassroots activism, political campaigns, or community organizing is beneficial
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in political science, communications, or related fields is a plus
