Founded in 1891 by a group of visionary volunteers, The Trustees of Reservations (The Trustees) is the Massachusetts' premier conservation and preservation organization. The Trustees' preserves, for public use and enjoyment, properties of exceptional scenic, historic, and ecological value in Massachusetts. Our properties are open to all, and we thrive by involving as many people as possible in all that we do. We aim to protect special places for future generations to enjoy in perpetuity, and have helped protect more than 50,000 acres, including 27,000+ acres on more than 120 reservations that are open to the public. What You'll Do:
Your Impact:
As the Campaign Director at Trustees, you'll join a seasoned team of development professionals as we embark on an ambitious 5-year fundraising campaign. Your coordination and leadership will help we meet our 9-figure fundraising goal, ensuring the future success of the organization and its recently released strategic plan.
The Role:
As the Campaign Director you'll be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of the for everyone, forever campaign, a comprehensive nine-figure fundraising initiative engaging individuals, foundations, corporations, and government partners. The campaign has been developed in partnership with CCS Fundraising and has entered an active implementation phase. As Campaign Director you will inherit a robust campaign framework and be responsible for adapting and executing it in collaboration with internal and external partners.
You'll take on a role that is both strategic and tactical, requiring a collaborative leader who can drive campaign momentum, deepen donor engagement, and ensure operational excellence. You'll also work closely with internal teams, Board members, and external stakeholders to meet ambitious fundraising goals and advance The Trustees' mission through its new strategic plan.
