Role DescriptionThis full-time hybrid role is located in Brooklyn, NY, with opportunities for some remote work. As the Chief Development Officer (CDO), you will lead the organization’s fundraising efforts, including planned giving, annual giving campaigns, and philanthropy strategies. You will develop and implement effective strategic plans for donor engagement, oversee budgeting for development initiatives, and build relationships with key stakeholders to secure vital funding for IMPACCT Brooklyn’s mission and programs. Additionally, the CDO will collaborate with senior leadership to align development goals with organizational objectives and identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications- Expertise in Planned Giving and Annual Giving to develop and manage donor-focused fundraising programs
- Experience in Philanthropy, including cultivating relationships with donors, corporate sponsors, and funding organizations
- Proficiency in Strategic Planning and Budgeting to align development strategies with organizational goals
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills to manage teams and work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to craft compelling proposals, presentations, and communication materials for donor engagement
- Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising trends and best practices
- Experience in community development or related sectors is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, Public Administration, or related field preferred
