Chief Development Officer

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Phoenix, AZ, for a Chief Development Officer. The Chief Development Officer will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the organization’s mission. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing planned and annual giving campaigns, cultivating relationships with donors, securing philanthropic investments, and leading strategic initiatives to achieve financial growth. The role will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic plans and manage budgeting processes.

• Experience with Planned Giving and Annual Giving campaigns
• Proven ability to build and maintain donor relationships and expertise in Philanthropy
• Strong background in Strategic Planning and the development of long-term initiatives
• Experience in Budgeting and financial oversight
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in donor database software and fundraising tools
• Demonstrated passion for supporting initiatives focused on empowering individuals and communities
• Bachelor's degree preferred; advanced degrees or certifications in nonprofit management or related fields are a plus
