Role Description

This is a half-time remote role for a Chief of Staff based in the Washington, DC area, with ability to meet in Washington once a week. The Chief of Staff will oversee daily operations, provide direct support to the organization’s leadership, and act as a key liaison across internal and external stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, managing communications, refining operational processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. The role also involves organizing meetings, ensuring effective follow-up on action items, and contributing to the overall alignment of organizational strategies and initiatives.

  • Leadership, organizational management, and project coordination skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including professional correspondence
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making expertise
  • Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Familiarity with the values and vision of Faithful Presence is highly beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are an asset
  • Experience in nonprofit or faith-based organizations is a strong plus
