    District Communications Coordinator

     

    Part-Time September through June

    20 Hours Per Week

    Summer Hours TBD

    Effective: 9/1/26

    Reports Directly to the Superintendent of Schools

     

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Promote district programs, student achievement, and school events through effective communication and community engagement.
    • Maintain and update the district website and social media platforms.
    • Create and distribute communications to staff, students, families, and the community.
    • Attend Board of Education meetings, school events, and district programs to develop content and highlight district accomplishments.
    • Prepare press releases and serve as the district's liaison to local media.
    • Collaborate with district and building administrators to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent messaging.
    • Support special projects and other communications initiatives as assigned by the Superintendent.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred. 
    • Strong written communication skills, experience with website and social media management.
    • Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.

    This Position Is Not  Eligible For Benefits and Compensation $55.00 per hour
