Job Description

Background

We are seeking a highly capable Network Coordinator to serve as a key partner in advancing the Central Florida Pledge Network. The Central Florida Pledge emerged in the aftermath of October 7, 2023, when the attack on Israel and the subsequent war in Gaza sent shock waves far beyond the Middle East, impacting diverse neighborhoods, college campuses, and houses of worship across Central Florida. On November 30, 2023, an “emergency meeting” of 150 multi-sector community leaders was convened, including mayors, law enforcement officials, college presidents, interfaith leaders, business executives, and nonprofit leaders. It was a unique and powerful gathering that created space for honest conversation, collective reflection, and forward planning.

That convening led to the creation of the Central Florida Pledge (https://centralfloridapledge.com/). We are now entering our third year, and significant progress has been made. In this next phase, we are intentionally building a “network of networks” across Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Our mission is to help Central Florida become America’s Most Welcoming Community where neighbors treat one another with dignity and respect, especially when we disagree.
