Position: Community Relations Assistant – Part Time/Non-Exempt
Reports To: Manager, Youth Football
Location: Arizona Cardinals (Tempe, AZ)

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club is a professional football team within the National Football League (NFL). The Cardinals compete in the National Football Conference (NFC) West division and call State Farm Stadium in Glendale their home stadium.

Summary:
The Community Relations Assistant will serve as a key touchpoint with fans for the team and our brand in the community through outreach events, programs, and initiatives.
Primary Job Duties:
The Community Relations Assistant will have responsibilities including, without limitation the following:
Community Relations
- Assist with planning and executing team community outreach events, including NFL initiatives such as Salute to Service, Crucial Catch, Inspire Change, and others
- Assist with providing memorable moments with client and fans for Arizona Cardinals CR Instagram
- Ensure the activation areas set up and tear down is done in a timely manner
- Assist community relations staff members with additional projects as needed
Youth Football
- Assist with the execution of NFL Flag, Gatorade Jr Training Camps and Heads Up Football
- Oversee the activation of activities provided to fans such as fan zone, practice drills, flag football game etc.
- Interact and greet guests to ensure a positive fan experience
- Assist with providing memorable moments with client and fans for Arizona Cardinals CR Instagram
- Ensure the activation areas set up and tear down is done in a timely manner
Home Games
- Act as a liaison for the Arizona Cardinals, State Farm Stadium staff and fans
- Oversee Red Zone kids area pre-game through post-game
- Ensure the activation areas set up and tear down is done in a timely manner
- Assist with all community relations home gameday activities
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree or working towards the completion of a degree
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in event operations preferred
- Bilingual is a plus
- High energy, proactive planner with a sense of urgency, creativity, style, and attention to detail
- Strong organization skills with experience in multitasking with multiple work-intensive projects
- Perform under tight deadlines while thinking clearly under pressure
- Proven strategic thinker and an excellent communicator
- The ability to work well with people in a team environment
- Reliable, punctual, and courteous
- Comfortable working as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Able to work on your feet for long hours, as well as nights and weekends
- Able to lift 50 lbs
