Job Description
The Office of U.S. Senator Cory Booker seeks a Constituent Advocate for his Camden, NJ office to act on behalf of constituents as a liaison with federal, state, and/or local agencies under the supervision of the Southern New Jersey Director and the Director of Constituent Services. Responsibilities include communicating with individual constituents in-person and remotely via email, phone, video-conference regarding federal government related matters; communicating with government agencies to address constituent issues and assist in obtaining a resolution. Responsibilities will also include outreach to community organizations and stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, empathetic, and possess excellent oral and written communications skills. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and a strong interest in public service. Preference will be given to those with New Jersey ties.
