Job Description
ALLMEP is seeking a Controller to oversee the financial functions of a growing international nonprofit. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment and is passionate about building strong infrastructure to support peacebuilding work.
Job Responsibilities: Reporting to the US Director and in close cooperation with the Executive Team, the Controller will be responsible for the following:
- Design and oversee a $3.5M annual budget; manage monthly financial reporting and forecasting
- Supervise outsourced bookkeepers and maintain GAAP-compliant systems in QuickBooks
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, tax filings, and journal entries.
- Manage Ramp expense system across global offices
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger; ensure audit readiness
- Work with bookkeepers on cash flow forecasts and oversee financial planning and risk management
- Manage restricted and unrestricted grant tracking and reporting
- Lead annual audits and 990 preparation
- Ensure EveryAction donor CRM system matches Quickbooks revenues
- Approving employee reimbursement requests
- Managing payroll for international employees
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in nonprofit financial management & accounting
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Excel, Ramp, and CRM systems (EveryAction preferred)
- Strong knowledge of nonprofit GAAP, financial compliance, and grant management.
- Strong knowledge of fund accounting
- Experience managing audits and restricted grant management
- Experience with EOR and payroll
- Creative, flexible, and detail-oriented, with the ability to foresee and solve problems;
- Ability and willingness to travel 5% percent of the time; and
- Bachelor’s degree required.

Position Location:
This is a full time remote position based in the U.S.. ALLMEP currently has staff or offices in New York City, Dallas, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Ramallah.
Compensation:
Salary will be based on experience and industry standards, with a range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually. ALLMEP’s benefits package includes 100% employer-paid health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance for its employees and dependents, as well as generous vacation and a 401(k) plan retirement account.
We aim to offer competitive compensation, and salaries will be aligned with cost of living considerations for the candidate’s location. The final offer will comply with applicable local laws and regulations regarding pay equity and transparency.
