Coordinator, Community Education

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Community Education Coordinator will coordinate Mental Health First Aid trainings and all other educational programs. Key functions will include managing requests, scheduling, program tracking, and reporting. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plan, direct, and coordinate all educational programs and trainings.

2. Prepare and implement all aspects of MHFA
3. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
4. Support evaluation of all education training and programs
5. Support the Education Team with coordination efforts for Community Education Events
6. Prepare course materials via information available on instructor website.
7. Compile local resources to provide during training.
8. Adhere to policies and procedures related to MHFA trainings.
9. Maintain MHFA Instructor Certification by meeting requirements of MHFA-USA.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Supervision to be exercised:

Occassional Supervision of interns and volunteers.

 

Supervision to be received:

Reports to Manager, Community Education & Outreach
