House Majority PAC is an organization designed to hold Republicans accountable and help elect more House Democrats. House Majority PAC is committed to building a long-term organization that can take on the Republican outside groups in the battle for the House Majority.


House Majority PAC (HMP) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Operations & Executive Assistant to support the Independent Expenditure (IE) leadership team. This is not just a scheduling role; it is a pivotal coordination hub for our senior team. The ideal candidate will help the senior team manage complex calendars and priorities while simultaneously tracking the flow of products and approvals that drive our programming to win the House Majority.



Duties & Responsibilities:


Scheduling: Manage complex, high-volume daily and long-term calendars for IE leadership. Prioritize "must-attend" meetings and ensure leadership is briefed and prepared with necessary materials 24 hours in advance.


Workflow Management: Serve as the primary tracker for executive workflow. Monitor the status of memos, ad scripts, and polling briefs, ensuring they move from draft to final sign-off across departments.


Collaborate with other team members to gather the necessary information to draft/ compile, edit, and update memos and presentations. 


Coordinate the collection, review, and distribution of information for key stakeholders; ensure accuracy and consistency of materials through careful review and version control


Reporting Support: Assist in tracking program spending, fundraising benchmarks, and advertising metrics to support operations teams as necessary.


Project Liaison: Act as a point of contact for external consultants and vendors to gather information, schedule briefings, and ensure deliverables are meeting HMP’s timelines.


Special Projects: Lead ad-hoc initiatives such as organizing staff retreats, streamlining internal digital filing systems, or conducting preliminary research on district-specific news.


Qualifications:


Political Alignment: A deep, demonstrated commitment to electing House Democrats and advancing progressive values.


Relevant Experience: 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced political environment—campaigns, Hill offices, nonprofits, or consulting firms are highly preferred.


Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Google Workspace,Microsoft Excel, and experience managing data sets. Familiarity with project management tools is a plus.


Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with absolute discretion.


Communication Skills and Style: Ability to "manage up"—proactively identifying problems and offering solutions to senior staff before they become bottlenecks. Strong verbal and written intra-office skills, and the ability to work efficiently and autonomously.

LOCATION:         Washington, DC

START DATE:        Spring 2026

END DATE:     December 2026

TRAVEL:            Little to no travel will be required

SALARY:           $85,000 annualized

 

This is a temporary [cycle-based], at will position with an anticipated end date of no later than December 15, 2026
