Counsel (Policy, Oversight, Ethics)

The organization seeks a Counsel to support its policy, oversight, and ethics initiatives aimed at promoting accountability and transparency in government. This role involves legal research and writing, preparing complaints and regulatory comments, and assisting in legislative reform efforts. The Counsel will collaborate with senior team members to track unethical activities by government officials and produce high-quality written content, including policy reports and op-eds. A Juris Doctorate and 2 to 8 years of relevant legal experience are required, along with strong communication skills and a commitment to advancing the organization. The position is remote but candidates in the Washington DC area are preferred.
