Position Overview
The George Conway for Congress campaign is seeking to hire a driven, well-organized, and hardworking finance staff member to support the campaign’s day-to-day fundraising operations.
The Deputy Finance Director will work closely with the Campaign Manager and the broader fundraising team to help execute call time, manage donor tracking, and assist with donor communications and the scheduling of fundraising events. This position is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and offers significant hands-on exposure to the inner workings of a congressional primary.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily call time operations, including donor research, call sheet preparation, and follow-up.
- Assist with planning and execution of fundraising events.
- Assist with donor communications and retention.
- Help maintain accurate fundraising reports and internal tracking documents.
- Assist with outreach to grassroots donors, local supporters, and bundlers.
Qualifications
- Prior campaign, political, nonprofit, or finance-related experience preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide array of stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hybrid work environment.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
Location & Compensation
- Based in New York City; in-person work expected.
- This is a full-time position through the primary election.
- Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
