Help
As a Deputy of Congressional Affairs at the GS-0301-14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Assists in the planning and implementation of programs and activities that are aimed at developing a greater awareness by the Congress, and their constituencies, of the mission, goals and programs of the Marshals Service and its associated law enforcement activities.
Analyzes and evaluates mission requirements and assesses the impact of proposed legislation on ongoing and proposed programs.
Develops and transmits informational materials to representatives and their staff to enhance understanding of USMS programs, responsibilities and prerogatives and to gain support for law enforcement initiatives.
