Senator Chris Van Hollen's office seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to perform a broad range of administrative support to the Scheduler and Director of Operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing and processing scheduling requests, compiling and organizing support for the Senator’s engagements/events, assisting with room reservations, and administrative support in the Capitol Hill office. Candidates must be detail-oriented, resourceful, adaptable to a rapidly changing schedule, and have the ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment with discretion. Qualified individuals must have strong written and oral communication skills. Prior Capitol Hill experience and mid-Atlantic ties are a plus.
