JOB TITLE:  Development Associate 

SUMMARY: 

The Development Associate is a key member of the fundraising team, providing critical administrative, data, and logistical support to advance Elmcor’s fund development goals. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the donor database, coordinating fundraising events, assisting with grant tracking, and supporting donor stewardship efforts.

SCHEDULE: 

Monday - Friday 10AM - 6PM 

LOCATION:

Corona, NY 

 POSITION TYPE:

Full Time, Exempt  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage donor and volunteer data within Network for Good, ensuring accurate gift processing, record maintenance, acknowledgements, tax receipts, and reporting.

  • Coordinate fundraising events, galas, donor receptions, and volunteer activities, including vendor management, registrations, guest tracking, and on-site logistics.

  • Support grant administration by maintaining submission calendars, organizing required documentation, conducting prospect research, and monitoring reporting deadlines.

  • Assist with fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship initiatives, and donor communications, serving as a primary point of contact for routine inquiries and recognition efforts.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop content, manage the agency website, and support digital storytelling, social media, newsletters, and annual reports.

  • Prepare fundraising reports and analytics, monitor progress toward development goals, and support reconciliation and compliance efforts in partnership with the finance team.

  •  Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; Associates or High School Diploma accepted with relevant experience.

  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience working in a non-profit development, administrative, or marketing role.

  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency with non-profit donor management software/CRMs and standard office suites (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace). Experience with Canva or email marketing tools is a plus.
