Development Director

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Garland is seeking an Experienced Development Director to help this 32 year old affiliate as it embarks on an audacious strategic growth initiative. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing relationship-builder experienced with and responsible for all fundraising and grants related to the organization. You will identify prospects and build a pipeline of potential partnerships that will help accelerate the company's financial growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a plan for growth through the cultivation of donations & grants.
• Take ownership of fundraising events-
• Act as a professional and accurate public representative for the organization.
• Comprehensively learn all aspects of HFHGG, it's programs, initiatives, and policies.
• Work cross-functionally with other teams and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent.
• Measurable track record of success in the Development sector.
• Extremely detail oriented with critical thinking acumen.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent writing & communication skills, and superb listening skills.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
