Torrey Advisory Group (TAG), a boutique bipartisan consulting firm serving food, agriculture, and related industries, seeks a talented, highly motivated Member & Events Manager. TAG provides strategic advocacy, association management, member engagement, and event planning services for trade associations, coalitions, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement end-to-end production of multi-day annual meetings, quarterly board meetings, virtual calls, and congressional fly-ins, oversight of logistics, programming, and budgets.
- Manage full event lifecycle, including venue sourcing, event timelines, meeting registration, travel, and on-site execution, ensuring a seamless, high-touch attendee experience.
- Develop and oversee event budgets, track expenses, and reconcile costs to maintain financial accuracy.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts across venues, caterers, audio visual, and hotels.
- Process and manage all administrative needs and correspondence for association clients.
- Develop, solicit and manage sponsorship opportunities for association meetings and events.
- Engage with association members, including Board of Directors.
- Lead and manage association leadership program from participant applications to program agenda and networking events.
- Collaborate with team members on member recruitment, engagement and retention.
- Produce all event materials including run-of-show documents, board and program books, branded collateral, and on-site assets.
- Coordinate event communications and promotional efforts, including invitations, registration campaigns, LinkedIn content, post-event communications, and stakeholder engagement strategies designed to increase participation and visibility.
- Utilize the firm’s CRM, HubSpot, and other technology platforms to manage email distribution lists, meeting landing pages, event registration, client surveys, and related communications materials for TAG and association clients.
Skills and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum of four years of experience, preferably in event planning, logistics, association management, or a related role.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to strategically manage competing priorities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand the big picture while managing details independently and proactively.
- Strong discretion, initiative, and technological know-how.
- Positive, personable, and energetic attitude.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and project management tools such as Asana or Monday.com.
- Experience with CRMs, including HubSpot, AI tools, social media marketing, or other workplace technology tools preferred.
