Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role located in Albany, CA, for a Development Manager. The Development Manager oversees donor communications, CRM systems, and special events; Partners with the Senior Development Manager to implement fundraising strategies; Collaborates with the Communications & Advocacy Manager to design and create external communications for donors and other funders; Manages key projects including the annual Impact Report and Uncorked fundraiser; Maintains high-quality donor data systems and supports organization-wide development planning and coordination.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in fundraising and development, including designing and executing campaigns
• Experience in grant writing, grant management, and identifying new funding opportunities
• Strong relationship-building skills, including cultivating and maintaining donor relationships
• Project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Commitment to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion
• Knowledge of child care policy or prior experience in advocacy organizations is a plus
