Position Summary:
The Digital Campaigns Manager is responsible for the management and development of digital fundraising campaigns. This role will manage and work with Digital Campaigns Strategists to ensure the successful implementation of online fundraising programs, including advising on copy, segmenting and targeting. Applicants should be creative, hardworking, and passionate about Democratic campaigns. This is not a traditional 9-5 role. Evening and weekend work will be expected from time to time.
This position is part of a collective bargaining unit.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage the day-to-day workflow of Digital Campaigns Strategists to ensure the successful implementation of select online fundraising programs
  • Develop the content strategy for select digital fundraising programs in coordination with the Digital Campaigns Strategists
  • Review content strategy and program performance with key stakeholders
  • Manage the development of emails, text messages, and donation pages, from copywriting to loading in NGP/ActBlue and ensuring all communication is held to stringent standards of grammar, accuracy, functioning links, etc.
  • Advise on testing, segmenting and deliverability for any additional programs at the direction of the the Deputy Digital Director
  • Manage an online partner fundraising program to expand the reach of select campaigns
  • Assist in the development and implementation of key department initiatives around capabilities-building, performance testing, vendor research, or infrastructure building
  • Peer edit digital fundraising copy written by others for clarity, accuracy, and grammar.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • 2 cycles of experience email and SMS writing and targeting for a political fundraising program preferred
  • 1 cycle of experience with the management of other individuals conducting online fundraising activities preferred
  • Commitment to the election of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives.
  • Strong familiarity with NGP, ActBlue, and any other leading CRMs and donation platforms
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred; any other coding knowledge is a major benefit.
  • Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva/graphic design/video experience preferred.
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to advise on and complete digital fundraising copy quickly in an ever-changing news cycle.
