Position: Director, Federal Government Affairs
Reports To: SVP, Federal Government Affairs & Alliance Development
Location: Hybrid in Washington, D.C.

They are seeking a Director of Federal Government Affairs to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to influence federal healthcare policy, build meaningful relationships on Capitol Hill, and advance legislative priorities for an industry essential to the nation’s healthcare system!

As the Director of Federal Government Affairs, you will work closely with the SVP of Federal Government Affairs & Alliance Development to develop strategy and positions on federal legislative issues. You will conduct direct lobbying and coordinate with industry coalitions on legislative activities that relate to HDA interests, as well as keep members informed of current or prospective developments in a timely manner. This position is hybrid, requiring three days (Tuesday-Thursday) in the office each week.
Qualified candidates offer:
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of legislative experience
- Extensive understanding of federal legislative processes and, preferably, healthcare issues
- Experience on Capitol Hill preferred, with a current network of contacts and relationships and the willingness and ability to establish new ones

Salary Range: $135,350 - $155,500
