Job Description
The Office of Congresswoman Analilia Mejia (NJ-11) is seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our District Office team in Montclair, New Jersey, for the Spring 2027 semester.
The internship will run from early January through mid-May 2027, and a stipend will be provided
District Office interns will gain hands-on experience in congressional operations, constituent services, community outreach, and event coordination. Responsibilities may include assisting with constituent correspondence, conducting research, supporting community events, maintaining office records, and helping staff with day-to-day administrative tasks.
Ideal candidates will have strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and an interest in public service. Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Familiarity with New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District is a plus but not required.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in government, public policy, and community engagement to gain firsthand experience working in a congressional district office.
Internship Dates: Early January – Mid-May 2027
