Editor/Producer

MeidasTouch Network is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor and Producer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a skilled video editor with a sharp eye for detail, a strong understanding of digital news content, and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, breaking news environment. The Editor/Producer will edit videos for YouTube, monitor daily political/legal news, and source relevant clips and stories for MeidasTouch and its affiliated channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit high-quality, fast-paced videos using Adobe Premiere Pro (both short-form digital news reports and longer-form podcast episodes)
• Pull and organize clips, stories, and soundbites for videos on breaking news
• Upload and manage video and audio content across platforms, which could include YouTube, Megaphone, Instagram, TikTok, and more
• Collaborate with producers and hosts to create outlines for daily video output
• Maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and a high standard of quality in all content
• Stay current on political news and culture, ensuring all content aligns with the MeidasTouch brand voice
• Ensure factual accuracy, editorial clarity, and strong narrative flow
• Deliver projects under tight deadlines in a fully remote environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
• Experience uploading and managing content across digital and podcast platforms
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Strong editorial judgment and familiarity with the progressive U.S. political landscape
• Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, breaking news environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Preferably on the East Coast

Compensation: Based on experience.
