Job Description
The organization is seeking two experienced education reporters to cover critical aspects of California's education system, focusing on K-12 schools and early childhood education. The K-12 reporter will investigate the largest school system in the country, while the early education reporter will explore the formative years from infancy to age five. Both roles will require a strong understanding of education policy and finance, with responsibilities including tracking legislation, analyzing the impact of technology, and highlighting the human stories behind educational outcomes. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in enterprise reporting, the ability to produce timely stories, and strong collaboration skills.
