  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant for multiple Executives (calendar management, meeting coordination, travel coordination, event planning, etc.)
  • 3+ years of Project Management/Project Coordination Experience (goal & project tracking, reporting, space planning, budgeting, process improvement, etc.)
  • Clear, concise, accurate, and timely communication (verbal and written).

In this role, you will work from Amazon’s beautiful new second headquarters in Arlington, VA assisting two Amazon executive leaders manage their day-to-day activities and long-term organizational objectives.

Key job responsibilities
The Project Kuiper team is seeking an exceptionally talented, multitasking, and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support two Directors from Amazon HQ2 in Arlington, VA.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Superior attention to detail, meet tight deadlines, excellent organizational skills, and juggle multiple critical requests.
  • A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, professionalism in dealing with senior leaders and engineers inside the company, with positive professionalism.
  • Completing complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, reacting with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and taking effective action with strong ambiguity, with professional poise under pressure.
  • Some Project Management responsibilities as both Directors deem necessary.
  • Some travel, primarily domestic, will be required.
  • Supporting staff meetings, document reviews, and other business mechanisms, to include preparing agendas, summaries, and driving completion of key deliverables and action items.
  • Proactively coordinating and engaging with leadership to plan and organize events, activities and calendars.
  • Managing complex calendar and scheduling requirements.
  • Acting as a liaison for direct reports to Directors.
  • Driving team activities, such as all-hands meetings, off-sites, and morale events.
  • Coordinating travel and preparing expense reports
  • Space planning across team locations in Washington, DC and Seattle.
  • Having fun at work and help others do the same.

About the team
The Regulatory Team obtains licenses for the Kuiper System (space stations, earth stations, spectrum and services) in each country we will serve; advocates for rules and policies that benefit our customers at the national, regional, and international levels; coordinates spectrum-use with satellite and terrestrial operators; files our satellite constellation parameters with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU); and develops the data and analyses to support these activities. We partner with the Legal, Public Policy, and Public Relations teams in all of these areas, and work in close collaboration with Kuiper’s development, operations, and business teams.
