Executive Director – Beatrice Women’s Center
Sheepgate is seeking an experienced, mission-minded leader to serve as Executive Director of our Beatrice Women’s Center.
Sheepgate, a division of Adult & Teen Challenge of the Midlands, is a faith-based residential program helping individuals find freedom from addiction and other life-controlling issues. The Executive Director will provide leadership and oversight for the Beatrice Women’s Center while protecting and advancing the mission, values, and culture of Sheepgate.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is passionate about ministry, developing people, building strong teams, and helping women experience lasting life change.
Key Responsibilities
The Executive Director will:
Provide overall leadership and direction for the Beatrice Women’s Center.
Recruit, supervise, develop, and evaluate staff.
Foster a healthy, Christ-centered culture among staff, students, and volunteers.
Ensure Sheepgate policies, procedures, and Adult & Teen Challenge accreditation standards are maintained.
Oversee the financial health of the center, including budgeting, financial accountability, fundraising, and development.
Build relationships with churches, donors, businesses, community partners, and other Adult & Teen Challenge centers.
Represent Sheepgate within the Beatrice community and surrounding region.
Identify opportunities for ministry growth, program development, and facility expansion.
Work closely with the President of Sheepgate and organizational leadership.
Lead by example through personal integrity, spiritual leadership, healthy relationships, stewardship, and commitment to the local church.

Requirements
Qualifications
We are looking for a leader who combines strong organizational skills with a genuine heart for ministry.
Preferred qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, five years of relevant leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous leadership, ministry, nonprofit, recovery ministry, or organizational management experience.
Strong communication, team-building, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage budgets, personnel, operations, and multiple priorities.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business technology.
Ministerial credentials from an accredited organization or the ability to meet Sheepgate's credentialing requirements.
First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Ability to meet Adult & Teen Challenge accreditation and background-screening requirements.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as ministry needs require.
