Fall Intern

Remote/Hybrid: This is a remote internship. Interns will be expected to work during normal US business hours.

Overview

Our interns, or Seasonal Associates, work closely with 270 staff to learn everything that goes into winning campaigns – from best practices for engaging and empowering communities, to the integration of digital strategy in grassroots organizing, to effective communications, training, and the power of analytics. Seasonal Associates will support all aspects of our client team’s work.

Responsibilities Could Include

• Scheduling – coordinating with clients and other stakeholders for meetings and interviews
• Detailed note-taking for stakeholder interviews and internal and client team meetings
• Research – research needs mostly involve locating, collating, and synthesizing information to support our projects, using both public and internal resources
• PPT/Google Slides support – ideally, Seasonal Associates will be responsible for some sections of our final presentations, including content synthesis, writing, and slide layout
  
  

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Excellent interpersonal, writing, and organizational skills
• Experience creating polished presentations using PowerPoint or other similar programs
• The ability to be detail-oriented, multitask, meet deadlines, and think critically and creatively
• The ability to work efficiently and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• A strong desire to learn and a commitment to changing the world

REMOTE WORK ENVIRONMENT: At 270, we are committed to fostering a culture of community building, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Seasonals receive regular coaching and training from their manager, and join weekly all-staff calls and client team check-ins. We use communications tools like Zoom and Slack to stay connected and intentionally create space to discuss everything from client case studies to Widow’s Bay.

Stipend: $4,000 stipend for an 8-week internship with 270 Strategies.
