Field Director - Grace Lee for NY State Senate District 27
Grace Lee for NYC seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a full-time Field Director for the 2026 primary campaign cycle. This is a full-time, Manhattan-based position that will require in-person work at various events, including some work on nights and weekends. We are open to a variety of experiences and work backgrounds.
The Field Director will oversee the field operation and strategy of the campaign, including but not limited to:
- Development and execution of an effective and aggressive field and voter contact program for a multi-lingual, multicultural district
- Recruiting, training, and coordinating campaign interns and volunteers
- Hiring and managing field organizers
- Arranging and facilitating voter engagement events
- Tracking and reporting key field performance metrics
Qualifications:
- Minimum of at least 1-2 years of political organizing experience on an electoral or issue advocacy campaign
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage both short-term and long-term priorities
- Ability to adhere to a campaign schedule, which includes evenings and weekends as necessary
- A team player mentality, as well as the ability to self-direct and work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to cultivate and manage interns, volunteers, and volunteer leaders
- Experience with VAN
- Familiarity with various voter contact platforms - dialers, relational organizing tools, text tools, etc. - is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish and/or a Chinese dialect is a plus
Compensation:
Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience, with a base of $4,500-$5,000 per month.
