Job Summary:
Join the Chevo Pastrano for State Representative Campaign as a Field Organizer and play a crucial role in engaging with the community through door-to-door canvassing. As a passionate advocate for positive change, you will be responsible for informing and mobilizing voters to support Chevo Pastrano's candidacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Canvassing and Outreach:
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing to engage with voters and communicate the campaign's message.
- Utilize persuasive communication skills to inform residents about Chevo Pastrano's platform and policies.
Voter Education:
- Provide voters with information on key campaign issues, Chevo Pastrano's background, and the importance of their participation in the electoral process.
- Address voter questions and concerns with accuracy and confidence.
Data Collection and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of voter interactions and feedback.
- Report daily progress and submit detailed summaries to the Campaign Manager.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable engaging with diverse communities.
- Passionate about political and social issues.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Previous experience in community organizing or political campaigns is a plus.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
