Position Overview
The George Conway for Congress campaign is seeking an experienced, strategic, and high-performing Finance Director to lead the campaign’s fundraising operations.
The Finance Director will work closely with the broader fundraising team and manage all finance staff to reach critical fundraising goals. This position involves significant hands-on work within the fast-paced environment of a political campaign.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the fundraising team to design and execute the campaign’s comprehensive finance plan, managing cash flow to ensure the campaign has the resources to win.
- Manage Finance staff and fundraising consulting team to hit critical fundraising goals.
- Manage the planning, execution, and strategy around fundraising events.
- Manage high-level donor communications and retention strategies, while managing relationships with major bundlers and institutional donors.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 cycles of prior campaign finance director level experience preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with managing multimillion dollar programs required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide array of stakeholders.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
Location & Compensation
- Based in New York City; in-person work expected.
- This is a full-time position through the primary election.
- Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
