Introduction and Organizational Background
Abortion Positivity Project is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced fundraising consulting firms or independent consultants to assist our organization in developing and implementing a robust, diversified, and sustainable fundraising strategy.
Organizational Overview
The Abortion Positivity Project works to destigmatize abortion and shift the public narrative around abortion away from one controlled by the anti-abortion extremist minority. We operate two distinct, but related, entities to achieve our goals: Abortion Positivity Project, our 501 (c)(3) and Abortion Positivity Action Fund, our 501(c)(4).
APP is a small organization with a bold and unique approach to abortion destigmatization. We are looking for a fundraising consultant who truly understands our vision and is open to exploring creative pathways for potential funding
Scope of Work
We are seeking a consultant to provide expertise in the following areas. Proposers should indicate their level of experience and proposed approach for each area.
Strategy and Planning: Develop a detailed, multi-year (e.g., 3-5 year) strategic fundraising plan that includes clear revenue goals, benchmarks, key performance indicators (KPIs), and resource allocation recommendations for each entity.
Major Gifts Program: Establish or refine a formal major gifts pipeline, including donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship processes that clearly distinguish between gifts intended for the (c)(3) and the (c)(4).
Grant Strategy: Develop a strategic grants calendar and proposal strategy, primarily for the (c)(3).
Digital/Online Fundraising: Advise on optimizing online giving platforms, social media campaigns, and email appeals for both entities, ensuring strict legal separation in solicitations.
