The organization seeks a Government Relations Intern to support its advocacy efforts for LGBTQ+ older adults. This part-time internship, lasting 12-16 weeks, involves legislative research, policy analysis, and grassroots organizing to address critical issues such as healthcare and housing. Interns will assist in drafting correspondence, tracking relevant legislation, and participating in advocacy events while gaining insight into the legislative process at various government levels. Candidates should be enrolled in a Political Science or related program, possess strong writing and research skills, and have a passion for LGBTQ+ rights.
