Job Purpose: Identifies and develops the physical space required for residential housing and day programs for people with developmental and other disabilities for Our House, Inc. and any other entities as time and resources permit. Identifies and secures appropriate funding. Serves as project manager to ensure that projects are successfully managed through to completion. Works directly with President & CEO, Chief Operating Officer, Board Committees and Residential and Day Staff for direction and approvals. Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age. Bachelor’s degree required. Real Estate license preferred, but not required. Must have minimum of 5 years’ related experience. Must possess computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ability to handle multiple projects, budget management and basic accounting. Strong skills necessary in verbal and written communication, public speaking and presentation, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving. Must possess valid driver’s license and possess own transportation to travel, with mileage reimbursement, to various sites. Essential Functions Related Duties: Classification: Exempt Reports to: COO Travel Requirements: Travel required, approximately 75% within North/Central NJ. Performance Factors 1. Employee can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and is conscientious about assignments. 2. Relationships with Others: The employee works effectively and relates well with others including superiors, colleagues, persons served, and individuals inside and outside OHI. The employee exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works, to maintain constructive working relationships. 4. Maintain Confidentiality: The employee maintains confidentiality of residents, workers, personnel, vendors, and other classified agency information.
