Position Overview: The Individual Giving Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Manager, Individual Giving and Membership, will support donor relations, stewardship and administrative operations associated with the museum’s General Membership, Museum Circle and Affiliate Group membership programs.

Requirements

Required Degree: Bachelor’s Degree/4-Year Degree

 

Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of development experience (in a nonprofit organization) or similar profession
  • Proven track record in donor cultivation, as well as experience in utilizing research and data to meet projected goals. 
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects often on tight deadlines, while never losing sight of the big picture. 
  • Comfort and skill in working with high profile individuals.  
  • Attention to detail, excellent writing skills. 
  • Fundraising database and computer proficiency (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience preferably in the art museum or non-profit setting.
  • Fundraising database Altru experience preferred. 
  • Event planning experience. 
  • Proficient in Spanish a plus.

Physical Demands

  • Walk, bend, lift (up to 15 pounds) files, office supplies, and electronic equipment.  
  • Finger dexterity to pick up paper and use computer keyboard. 
  • Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.   
  • Ability to hear in normal tones including telephone and face-to-face conversation. 

 

Summary

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to: 

  • Manage PAMM’s individual and dual/family membership program, with the guidance and support of the Senior Manager, Individual Giving and Membership. Meet quarterly and yearly goals that include member household count, retention rates and financial results.
  • Identify and cultivate new potential members and bring them through the donor cycle (identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship).
  • Support logistics of annual donor travel programs.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the success of individual and dual/family membership program
  • Execute renewal letters and proposal materials, in addition to tracking Individual Gift proposals and ensuring the accuracy of proposal records.
  • Work with the Development Assistant to ensure delivery of timely and accurate membership and donation acknowledgement letters.
  • Collaborate with all members of the Individual Giving Team to maximize donor engagement opportunities and streamline donor and prospect management.
  • Ensure individual donor and member information is maintained and updated in CRM database (currently Altru).
  • Serve as an active and visible ambassador in the community, communicating PAMM’s leadership in the arts, building a strong culture of giving, forming strategic alliances and fostering county-wide collaboration.
