About the Role

TBC is seeking an Industry Affairs Manager to lead partner and member engagement while expanding the organization’s network of corporate members and sponsors. This role is responsible for cultivating relationships, identifying new growth opportunities, and ensuring current members realize strong value from their participation.

The ideal candidate is a relationship builder and industry ambassador who is comfortable opening doors, creating strategic partnerships, and guiding organizations through long-term engagement with TBC.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and steward trusted relationships with current members, sponsors, and strategic partners
  • Expand TBC’s network by identifying, engaging, and onboarding new companies aligned with our mission and growth objectives
  • Lead membership and sponsorship initiatives that contribute to organizational revenue and long-term sustainability
  • Manage a pipeline of prospective partners, tracking outreach, engagement, renewals, and retention
  • Serve as an ambassador for the organization and connect members to policy, business development, and collaboration opportunities
  • Guide onboarding and ongoing engagement to ensure members realize strong, measurable value
  • Collaborate with leadership, policy, marketing, and operations teams to execute outreach strategies and programs
  • Represent TBC at conferences, industry events, and stakeholder meetings across Texas and nationally

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–7+ years of experience in partnerships, membership growth, business development, or industry relations
  • Strong network and credibility within blockchain, digital assets, energy, infrastructure, finance, or adjacent sectors
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships and translate opportunities into long-term commitments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Confidence engaging executives, founders, policymakers, and technical operators
  • Strategic, self-directed mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience with trade associations, policy-focused organizations, or emerging technology sectors preferred

Location & Travel

·       Dallas preferred, other locations may be considered

·       Regular travel within Texas expected

·       Occasional national travel possible

Compensation

Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, with flexibility depending on seniority and whether the role is structured as full-time or contract.
