Evaluate political risks, social instability, electoral changes, policy reversals and their potential impacts on business operations of clients in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Build and maintain international political databases, policy tracking systems, and networks of expert contacts.

Participate in customized strategy projects to deliver policy recommendations for government, financial institutions, and corporate clients.

Support team activities including client workshops, policy briefings, and media commentary.

Establish and maintain relationships with think tanks, research institutions, and diplomatic experts to source first-hand intelligence.

Draft policy white papers, industry insights, media commentaries, and client-specific briefings — elevating the company’s global reputation.

Required Qualifications:

Education Background:

Bachelor’s degree or above in International Relations, Political Science, History, Journalism, Law, Economics, or related fields.

Master’s degree preferred, especially in International Political Economy, Security Studies, Regional Studies, or Public Policy.

Professional Competencies:

Strong grasp of international relations theory (Realism, Liberalism, Constructivism) and global geopolitical frameworks.

Familiarity with major international organizations (UN, NATO, ASEAN, G20, IMF, etc.) and their operational dynamics.

Ability to conduct policy modeling, trend analysis, and risk assessment (proficiency in GIS, data tools, Python/SQL, or similar is a plus).

Demonstrated ability to write policy reports, academic papers, or media commentaries with clear structure, strong logic, and original insights.

Work Experience:

Prior experience in think tanks, research institutions, government foreign affairs departments, or international organizations is preferred.

Overseas living or working experience is highly valued.

Deep specialization in one or more regions (e.g., Southeast Asia, Middle East, Europe, Latin America, Africa) is a strong plus.

Successful delivery of policy or industry research projects is a significant advantage.

Personal Attributes:

Independent researcher with strong information synthesis and analytical skills.

Cross-cultural communication skills and ability to work in high-pressure, dynamic environments.

Commitment to global governance and peacebuilding — keen interest in international affairs and global challenges.

Strong team collaboration and project management skills.

Flexible work style — able to adapt to travel, short-term international assignments, or virtual collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications (Highly Competitive, Not Required):

Professional certifications (CFA, PMP, IIR, FSS, APR, etc.).

Familiarity with policy modeling tools (e.g., GEO, Vensim, ArcGIS, Tableau, Python, SQL).

Published articles or media contributions (Financial Times, NYT, BBC, CGTN, Xinhua, etc.).
