Job Description
The Office of Congressman George Whitesides (CA-27) is seeking motivated candidates for a short-term internship in the Washington, D.C. office.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to observe the inner workings of Capitol Hill and gain insight into the legislative process. Interns will have the opportunity to work with the legislative, communications, and operations teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to answering constituent phone calls, giving tours of the Capitol, attending policy briefings and meetings, researching legislation for the legislative staff, and other duties as necessary. The internship will run from the beginning of April to the end of May.
Qualified applicants are friendly, detail-oriented, professional, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Ties to CA-27 are a plus.
