The organization is seeking a Legislative Affairs Specialist to support a Department of Defense client in Fort Meade, MD. This role involves reviewing congressional hearing transcripts, preparing Questions for the Record, and monitoring defense legislation and hearings. The Specialist will also prepare client staff for congressional engagements and respond to inquiries, while conducting research and drafting background materials for senior leadership. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in legislative affairs, a strong understanding of legislative processes, and excellent communication skills, along with an active TS/SCI clearance.
