Legislative Counsel

The organization seeks a Legislative Counsel to advocate for its members and advance interests related to the organization and agriculture before the organization's legislative and regulatory bodies. This role involves developing and implementing strategies, conducting policy research, and building relationships with key stakeholders, including elected officials and regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field, along with four to six years of experience in public policy. Strong communication skills and the ability to utilize technology effectively are essential. The position is full-time and based in Lansing, MI, with standard hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
