Legislative Counsel

The organization is seeking a Legislative Counsel to provide legal analysis and support for proposed legislation within the New the organization Statehouse. This full-time role involves preparing legal and policy analyses, drafting testimony and position statements, and staffing committee hearings. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree, be a member of the New the organization State Bar, and possess three to five years of relevant legal experience, particularly in government or legislative affairs. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of the legislative process.
