Legislative Intern (Volunteer)

The organization is seeking a Legislative Intern to support its mission of advocating for foreign aid and international development in Congress. This role involves tracking legislation, preparing briefing materials, and attending congressional hearings to take detailed notes. Interns will also assist with outreach campaigns and logistics for events, including phonebanking for endorsed candidates. Ideal candidates should possess strong research and writing skills, a keen interest in the legislative process, and the ability to meet deadlines. The internship can be completed remotely or in-person in Washington, D.C., and is offered on a voluntary basis.
