Legislative Legal Services Intern

The organization is offering a part-time internship for law students interested in the organization process and state policy. Interns will engage in the organization bill drafting, conduct legal research, and participate in meetings with legislators and lobbyists, while also staffing the organization committee hearings and attending floor debates. The role requires strong writing and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to non-partisan neutrality. Candidates should be 2L or 3L students, with a minimum commitment of twelve hours per week, and the internship is strictly for academic credit, taking place in-person at the State Capitol complex from mid-January to early May.
