Regional Representative

Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association | Eugene, OR | Hybrid

The Opportunity

ORLA is Oregon's leading trade association for the restaurant and lodging industry. The Regional Representative is our primary presence across the Southern Willamette Valley and Southern Oregon, covering territory from Salem to Ashland and Bend to the coast.

This is a hybrid role based in the Eugene area. When not in the field, you work from home. You manage your own schedule within a standard Monday through Friday workweek and report to ORLA's home office in Wilsonville.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, engage, and close new restaurant and lodging members across the territory, managing the full sales cycle from first contact to signed membership.
  • Drive membership renewals through proactive outreach and ongoing relationship management with existing members.
  • Generate leads for ORLA partner programs including workers' compensation and payment processing by identifying member needs and connecting operators to the right solutions.
  • Represent ORLA at industry events and local meetings throughout the territory.
  • Stay current on regulatory and policy issues affecting hospitality operators in the region and keep members informed in coordination with ORLA's government affairs team.

What Success Looks Like

  • Meeting or exceeding new member targets each month.
  • Strong renewal rates within your territory year over year.
  • Consistent lead generation for ORLA partner programs.
  • A visible, trusted presence across key markets in the region.

What We Are Looking For

A self-directed sales professional with a track record of prospecting, pipeline management, and closing. Experience selling intangible value -- memberships, sponsorships, professional services, or similar -- is strongly preferred. Existing relationships with Oregon restaurant or lodging operators are a plus.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role with a track record of prospecting and closing.
  • Comfortable managing a CRM and owning pipeline metrics.
  • Strong communicator in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Some travel across the territory is expected and can often be handled by phone, video, or email.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Eugene area.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary plus uncapped commission. Total compensation for a strong first year typically falls in the $45,000 to $55,000 range. Commission is uncapped.

We serve over 2,600 members including restaurants, lodging properties, and the vendors who support them, advocating at the state and local level, providing cost-saving programs, and building the workforce our industry needs to thrive.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Eugene, OR 97403
